The issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed at the meeting of the Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Egypt Faig Bagirov with the Minister of the International Cooperation of
the Arab Republic of Egypt (ARE) Mrs. Faiza Abu Nagi and the Justice Minister Mahmud Abu al-Leyl Rashid.
Broad exchange of views on dynamically developing lately ties between Azerbaijan and Egypt in various fields was held at the meetings, Trend reports. The leaderships of the both countries attach large significance to the development of the bilateral relations. The agenda of the II session of the joint commission on the Azerbaijani-Egyptian inter-governmental economic, technical cooperation to take place in Cairo in December 2005 was also discussed. The sides noted a great success of the Days of the Azerbaijani culture in ARE from 10 to 13 November.
The Ambassador informed of the results of the 6 November parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan.
