“If the Mayoral Office of Baku does not sanction rally to be staged by Azadlyg bloc, a biggest opposition alliance in Galaba square on Saturday, the opposition will hold an unsanctioned action,” Sardar Jalaloglu, the first deputy chairman of the Azerbaijan Democratic Party (ADP), one of the founders of Azadlyg bloc, told, Trend.
The politician said that they have not received an answer for the appeal sent to Mayoral Office with request to sanction the action. “As Article 71 of the Constitution does not contain a word �sanctioning’, the bloc can hold an action without relevant agreement with the Executive Power of Baku,” Jalaloglu underscored.
According to Jalaloglu, the bloc will insist on its resolution irrespective on the reply of the Mayoral Office.
