Azerbaijan will host a meeting of Council of Europe member-states' sport ministers, Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni, the director General of Education, Culture and Heritage, Youth and Sport at the Council of Europe, told Trend .
"We actively cooperate with Azerbaijan in sports," she said. "Thanks to this cooperation, Baku will host the informal meeting Sep.22. This meeting is planned at the highest political level and I am likely to attend the event, too."
She said the issues concerning the meeting will be discussed in Paris and Strasburg in February and March. Papers will be submitted to the Council of Europe Culture, Education, Youth and Sport Secretary's co-rapporteurs.
