Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and the Baku State University signed a memorandum of cooperation. The document was signed during Dean of the Faculty of General and Applied Physics Mikhail Trunin's visit to Baku, the BSU said.
The document covers the following areas: exchange of researchers, graduate students, and undergraduates, admission to the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology to study for undergraduate and graduate programs on the recommendation of the Baku State University on a competitive basis based on interviews and entrance tests in the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
Studying is possible on a contract basis, and at the expense of to the Russian budget. It is also envisaged undergoing practice in the laboratories of the BSU and MIPT by university students, carrying out research on joint projects. The parties also agreed to exchange information to improve the skills of scientists and teachers, organizing joint workshops and conferences, participation in joint projects and programs.
