Azerbaijani bank's assets increased by 20 percent in 2010

The assets of Azerbaijani Turan Bank amounted to 131.5 million manat as of 2010. They increased by 19.6 percent compared to 2009, the bank said.

The bank's loan portfolio amounted to 104 million manat. The bank's income increased by 28.7 percent and hit 15.5 million manat per year. The bank's profit increased by 28 percent and hit 2.9 million manat.

Deposit portfolio of the bank increased by 22,5 percent, amounting to 44.2 million manat compared to 2009. Long-term deposits increased by 42,1 percent, amounting to 32 million manat per year.

The bank's customer base increased by 149.4 percent and reached 17,994 people, of whom 17 412 - physical entities, 582 - legal entities.

The joint capital of Turan Bank increased by 15.2 percent and reached 23,6 million manat per year. The authorized capital is 20 million manat.

The bank has 25 shareholders, five of them - legal entities (21.52 percent) and 20 physical entities (78.48 percent).

The bank has 11 branches all over the country and 19 exchange points.

The official exchange rate is 0.7974 manat to $1.
