Ganja Automobile Plant carried out a lot of work during a short time and the plant is the most successful among the Azerbaijani-Belarusian joint projects, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, co-chairman of the Belarus-Azerbaijan intergovernmental commission for cooperation Vladimir Semashko, who is on a visit to Ganja said on Thursday.

Semashko familiarized with the plant's output of tractors and automobiles, as well as trailers and equipment used in agriculture. He praised the conditions, created in the company and said there are good conditions for the implementation of new projects in Ganja. He also noted the importance of the new project at the Ganja Automobile Plant.

"In addition to the assembly of tractors it is necessary to complexly use the production of agricultural machinery and parts used in agricultural machinery, including in tractors Belarus. During this visit, we will discuss these issues again. In addition we will strive to achieve a closer cooperation in the field of production and expansion of relations," Semashko said.

During the visit, Semashko also discussed prospects of building long-distance buses MAZ in Ganja. Deputy Prime Minister responded positively to the proposal to build the buses in Ganja.
