The trial of group members accused of trying to carry out sabotage and terrorist acts in Baku on the eve of Eurovision 2012 song contest started.

On Tuesday, the Baku Court on Grave Crimes held a preliminary court hearing on the case of Kamal Yagubov, Rashad Shahbazov and Afig Allahverdiyev.

A decision was made to hold a closed hearing in court on November 15.

On the eve of Eurovision 2012 song contest the Ministry of National Security conducted special operations in Baku, Sumgayit, Ganja, Gakh, Zagatala, Guba and neutralized a total of 40 people.

Kamal Radjabov is charged under articles 274 (high treason), 29,214.2.1, 29,214.2.3 (attempt of a repeated attacks by groups of persons in a preliminary conspiracy), 206.4 (smuggling), 228.3 (possession and distribution of firearms and ammunition) of the Criminal Code, Rashad Shahbazov - under Articles 274, 29,214.2.1, 29,214.2.3, Rajab Abbasov - under articles 206.4, 228.1, 228.3 of the Criminal Code, Afig Allahverdiyev - under articles 228.1, 228.3, 228.4, 234.4.2, 234.4.3 of the Criminal Code.
