The 2nd meeting of the TURKPA Commission on Economic, Trade and Financial Issues is taking place on Friday, the Secretary of the Assembly announced on Thursday.
The parliamentarians are going to discuss the summary report on "Improvement of investment environment of TurkPA member states" and adopt a recommendation decision on it.
It is expected that the Deputy Chairman of Turkish Parliament Sadik Yakut will participate in the meeting and greet the guests. The Deputy Secretary of the Turkic Council Gismat Gozalov and the Secretary General of Turkic World Municipalities Union Mustafa Başkurt, as well as representatives of the embassies of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan to Turkey are also expected to take part and make speeches at the event.
It is expected that the commission will adopt a document on improvement of investment environment in TurkPA member states to be submitted to the 4th plenary session to be held in June in Turkey, as well as a recommendation decision on its further activities. The place, date and agenda of the 3rd meeting of the commission should also be determined at the 2nd meeting.
