Press Council of Azerbaijan and Press Council of Northern Cyprus have signed a protocol of cooperation, Azerbaijani Press Council said on Friday.
The document signed by the Azerbaijani Press Council Chairman Aflatun Amashov and the head of the Press Council of Northern Cyprus Sule Aker, notes that joint activity is necessary for the development of an independent press and freedom of expression.
The document also reflects the issues of organization of activities aimed at promoting media activities, the development of professional skills of media employees in the field of human rights and freedoms, as well as various aspects of the exchange of experience.
