The Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking countries (TURKPA) and the Association of municipalities of the Turkic world plan to sign a cooperation agreement on September 3 in Turkey, TURKPA told Trend on Monday.
The goal of the agreement is to develop relations in various spheres, the organization of projects and conferences, the promotion of active participation of local municipalities in TURKPA's activity, as well as participation of experts from the Association of municipalities of Turkic world in the activity of relevant permanent commissions of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking countries.
It is expected that the agreement will be signed by Secretary General of TURKPA Ramil Hasanov and the Chairman of the Association of municipalities of Turkic world, the head of Kocaeli municipality Ibrahim Karaosmanoglu.
