UEFA President Michel Platini to visit Azerbaijan on September 21.
During the visit, the head of UEFA to take part in the ceremony of laying the foundation of a training base for national teams in Football center in Mardakan and to hold a series of meetings, according to a statement posted on the website of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) on Wednesday.
Construction of the training base, which is the next project of AFFA, is implemented with the financial support of UEFA.
On September 20, at a meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee in the Croatian Dubrovnik the list of candidate cities that will host matches of Euro 2020, will be approved. To this end, AFFA nominated Baku for Euro 2020.
