Discussions have been held on preparations for the 2nd Global Shared Societies Forum, scheduled to be held in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku in April, 2014, according to a message from the Nizami Ganjavi International Centre.
The forum will be attended by about 60 former and current heads of states, prime ministers of over 50 countries, including well-known scientific and public figures and Nobel Prize laureates.
The forum will be held with the support of the Azerbaijani State Committee on Work with Diaspora and is being organised jointly by the Nizami Ganjavi International Centre and Club of Madrid, as well as the Club of Rome, the UN, the Alexandria Library and other influential organisations.
The forum will include the sixth board meeting of the Nizami Ganjavi International Centre and the first general assembly, a board meeting of the Club of Madrid and the seventh coordination meeting with the Nizami Ganjavi International Centre and the first coordination meeting with the World Academy of Art and Science.
