The managing staff of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, led by the Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, today visited the Main Clinical Hospital of the Armed Forces, the ministry said on June 25.
The visit was carried out with regard to the Day of Azerbaijani Armed Forces, celebrated each year on June 26.
The ministry's managing staff laid flowers on the monument of Azerbaijani national leader Heydar Aliyev in the hospital, and honored his memory.
The minister then took interest in the well-being of soldiers and officers undergoing treatment in the hospital, congratulated them on the Day of Azerbaijani Armed Forces, and presented gifts to them.
