Inauguration of a building with 120 flats designed to settle boarding school leavers took place in Masazyr Settlement, Baku on Dec. 29.
Azerbaijan's First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva attended the ceremony.
Joining the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, one of the large projects of social significance being implemented by the Agency for Restoration and Reconstruction of Territories is construction of residential buildings to settle orphans after they leave boarding school having reached the age of maturity.
The building accommodates a 50-seat cafe with a kitchen, a barber shop, a commercial salon, table games and Internet rooms, and a laundry.
All of the flats have been provided with furniture, inventory and equipment, including kitchen equipment and bed sets.
Boarding school leavers themselves will work at the service areas to function in the building.
Mehriban Aliyeva expressed gratitude for the conditions created in the building.
