Trend news agency and AzerNews newspaper have announced launching of a joint English-language news project - This Week in Focus.
The presenters are the editor-in-chief of AzerNews newspaper Sevil Mikayilova and Trend's senior editor Claude Salhani.
Politicians from Azerbaijan and from all over the world, as well as influential newsmakers and experts will be the guests of the program.
Interviews will be made live in the studio and through Skype. Topical events on the local and global political arena will be discussed during the program.
A new channel has been created on Youtube for this program. At the same time, the releases of this program will be available on the official pages of the project on Twitter and Facebook and on Trend's website.
The first episode of This Week in Focus program will be dedicated to the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as role of the international community, in particular, Russia and the US in the settlement of the conflict.
The program's first episode will feature Claude Salhani, Sevil Mikayilova and the guest of the program, Ariel Cohen, who will discuss the ways of settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the role of the international community, in particular, Russia and the US in the settlement of this conflict.
