Holding of the seventh Global Forum of the UN Alliance of Civilizations in Baku in 2016 is of great importance, the chief advisor to Turkish Prime Minister Bekir Karliga said during a meeting with Chairman of the Azerbaijani State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations Mubariz Gurbanli March 12.
"Azerbaijan has great experience in holding such forums," he said.
He said that the exchange of knowledge and experience between Azerbaijan and Turkey will greatly benefit the joint activity.
During the meeting, Gurbanli said that Turkey has played a major role in the establishment of the Alliance of Civilizations and its activity.
He said that it is very important to establish mutual understanding and a dialogue among civilizations in the globalized world.
Then there was an exchange of views on the work, to be held as part of the preparation for the forum.
The representatives of 127 world's countries will attend the forum.
