Turkey will further continue to work to immortalize the name of Azerbaijan's National Leader Heydar Aliyev, said the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on March 17.
He made the remarks at the opening ceremony of a technical lycée named after Heydar Aliyev in the Turkish city of Kars.
Erdogan said Heydar Aliyev's name is immortalized with the opening of the educational complex, adding that this process will continue in the future.
"We see this technical lycée, named after Heydar Aliyev, as a model educational institution," said Erdogan.
He added that the opening of the lycée in Kars is a symbol of friendly and fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
Kars hosted on March 17 the opening ceremony for the technical lycée named after Heydar Aliyev.
The ceremony was attended by Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev, Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Georgia's President Giorgi Margvelashvili.
