The specialists of the Russian Center of Forensic Medical Expertise left for Sakhalin to examine the bodies of those killed in the trawler crash in the Sea of Okhotsk, RIA Novosti reported with reference to the Russian health ministry April 2.

"The specialists of the Russian Center of Forensic Medical Expertise left for Sakhalin to assist in the forensic expertise," a statement said.

"Far East" fishing trawler sank overnight in the Sea of Okhotsk off the eastern Russian peninsula of Kamchatka. The 132-person crew was made up of 78 Russians and 54 citizens of other countries. At least 54 people have died and 15 are missing. The rescued people are suffering hypothermia. The captain and chief mate died.

Seven Azerbaijani people were on board. All of them are citizens of Russia, Magadan's regional department of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations told Trend earlier.
