Professor Kim Jaewan, South Korean specialist on quantum mechanics and theoretical physics, who is also the director of the South Korean KIAS University, visited Azerbaijan.
The visit is part of the "World science at Azerbaijan" programme established by the Knowledge Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Professor Jaewan lectured at the Shamakhi astrophysics observatory on "Quantum mechanics and its application fields".
Scientists, representatives of local intellectuals, as well as the students of the Shamakhi branch of Azerbaijan Technical University and Azerbaijan Teachers Institute participated in the lecture. Following the briefing on quantum mechanics and sharing his approaches to its application field, Professor Jaewan answered the questions of participants.
