YARAT offers unique opportunity in extraordinary ‘Night at the museum’

YARAT Contemporary Art Centre is organizing the event 'Night at the Museum', which is aimed at all residents and visitors of Baku on 23rd May.

'Night at the Museum' is an extraordinary annual event, which has already taken place for almost forty years in more than 143 countries around the world to promote intellectual curiosity. In Azerbaijan, it will take place for the second time. In addition to the traditional exploration of collections and exhibitions, on this day guests will experience a modern museum offering unlimited opportunities for active education and enjoyment.

'Night at the Museum' starts at 11:00 and will last until late at night. Everyone who joins in will find something that will appeal to them.

The Centre will be transformed on this day, for just for you!

The day's program will include the following:

• Yoga class in the open air to be run by professional instructors Hamid Elsever Hamidzade and Sabina Shakhi.

• Culinary master class by chef and co-founder of the project Gurmaniya (Gourmets) Farhad Ashurbeyli.

• Zumba Fitness master-class by professionals from Harmony Dance Club Farid Mehdiyev and Mehman Mehdiyev.

• For lovers of local history, there will be an encounter with the most interesting mysteries of Baku with well-known story-teller and researcher Fuad Akhundov.

• Young contemporary art professionals and amateurs will be able to get expert advice from artist Chingiz Babayev, art manager Farid Abdullayev and the musicologist Dzhahangir Selimhanov.

Also a film screening, an art-therapy session, dance and cyclist show by VeloBaku sports association will be presented for you at this special day!

Throughout the whole evening the famous DJ Pancho will get the Centre moving with his hits.
