Azerbaijani serviceman Samir Orujov, called up for the military service from the Zardab district, was injured as a result of violating the weapon handling safety rules September 3, the Azerbaijani defense ministry said Sept. 4.
Despite the first aid rendered to Orujov, he died on the way to a military medical facility.
A criminal case has been filed. The investigation is underway.
