The Heydar Aliyev Foundation is organizing a series of events to promote Azerbaijani culture in France.

Conferences and meetings are to be held in Paris and Strasbourg to promote the tradition of religious tolerance in Azerbaijan, said Azerbaijani State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations Sept. 7.

An Azerbaijani delegation, led by the Chairman of State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations Mubariz Gurbanli, is in France to take part in the events that will continue up to September 10.

The delegation members will also take part in a ceremony dedicated to the European Day of Jewish Culture and make reports at a conference in Paris on the culture of religious tolerance and co-existence in Azerbaijan.

They will also meet the local public representatives.

Along with the representatives of State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations, the delegation includes the Head of the Community of Azerbaijan's Mountain Jews Milikh Yevdayev, the Head of Baku European Jews Community Gennady Zelmanovich, the Head of the Albanian-Udin Religious Community Robert Mobili, the Archbishop of Baku and Azerbaijan Eparchy Alexander Ishein, the Head of the Catholic Community in Azerbaijan Ordinary Vladimir Fekete.
