Schneider Electric trains electricity basics to the young people in the regions of Azerbaijan

This summer Schneider Electric enlarged the educational programmes in Azerbaijan as the global energy specialist had left the capital to run its first-ever electricity basics training for the youth in the regions during a two-month project. The training activities covered Shemkir (27-30 Aug 2015), Barda (31 Aug - 2 Sep 2015) and Masalli (7-9 Sep 2015) regions where in total over 150 young people attended the classes. During the three-day sessions in each region the participants received training on electrical energy basics, safety regulations and energy efficiency understanding and learned how to handle simple electrical works in their daily living.

The field training activities were conducted with the kind support of Azerbaijan Democratic Students & Youth Organization (ADSAYO) and local authorities.

Since 2007 Schneider Electric, a global energy management leader has established 6 academic laboratories and empowered about 600 students of the Azerbaijan's technical universities with the advanced knowledge and experience to grow local high skilled energy specialists for the country's sustainable development.
