By Elchin Mehdiyev - Trend:

The primary cause of recent terrorist attacks in France is the problem with the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group and migration problems in France, Gabil Huseynli, an analyst, told Trend Nov. 14.

"The preparations for ground operations against the IS are underway," he said. "The military forces of Russia and the West began to strike the IS. On the other hand, the US persuaded Turkey to conduct ground operations against this terrorist organization. Serious actions will be taken to destroy the IS following the G20 summit. By its actions, the IS is trying to prove its existence and scare some countries. The most suitable country was France."

He added that, today, terrorism has spread worldwide.

"I think that the primary issue at the G20 summit in Antalya will be combating the terrorist groups," he said. "Today, humanity is faced with a terrible force, posing a threat to almost all countries. Therefore, if terrorism is not eradicated, it can lead to disastrous consequences in the future."

Numerous terrorist attacks were conducted in Paris on Nov. 13-14. Four gunmen systematically slaughtered at least 89 young people attending a rock concert at the Bataclan music hall.

Some 40 more people were killed in five other attacks in the Paris region, including an apparent double suicide bombing outside the national stadium where French president Hollande and German foreign minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier were watching a friendly soccer international.

129 people have died in the aftermath of a string of terror attacks in Paris, while 99 out of 352 injured are in a critical condition, Paris Prosecutor Francois Molins stated during a news briefing following a string of terror attacks in France's capital.
