The National Hero Chingiz Mustafayev Foundation and ANS Group of Companies declared the first lady of Azerbaijan, president of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, goodwill ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP Mehriban Aliyeva "The Person of 2015".
This award was conferred to Azerbaijan's first lady for her exceptional role in organizing and holding the first European games at a high level, the large-scale activity to promote Azerbaijan's positive image in the world, for her work for a mutual integration of Azerbaijani and world cultures, for contribution to formation of a multiculturalism atmosphere and her consistent charity activities.
The National Hero Chingiz Mustafayev Foundation and ANS Group of Companies in 2005 too declared Mehriban Aliyeva the person of the year.
