Azerbaijani nationals living in Japan's Kumamoto Prefecture have not been affected by the recent earthquakes, says Azerbaijan's Embassy in Tokyo.
The southwest of Japan was on Apr. 15 shaken by a series of earthquakes, the magnitude of which reached 7.3.
The quakes caused multiple destructions.
Japan's south-western Kyushu Island is also currently suffering from tremors.
Aftershocks may last for a few more days, according to Japan's Meteorological Agency.
