Nico Rosberg, the German driver of the Mercedes AMG F1 team, who won the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe in Baku, says it was very important for him to win the race in Baku.
Speaking after the awarding ceremony, Rosberg said the Baku City Circuit was interesting and he made every effort to win the race.

The circuit has very fast turns, it is a very fast track and it is simply amazing, he said.
Sergio Perez, the Mexican driver of the Sahara Force India team, who came in third, said he knew in advance that one can achieve a stunning result on the Baku city circuit.
