An award ceremony for the winners of the finals of the FIG World Cup in Tumbling has been held at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku.

The ceremony was attended by Nikolai Makarov, first vice-president of the FIG Trampoline Technical Committee, members of the Executive Committee of the European Union of Gymnastics (UEG) Erik Mogensen and Stoyan Stoyanov, Vladimir Zeman, president of the UEG trampoline technical committee, head coach of the Azerbaijani national team in rhythmic gymnastics Mariana Vasileva and Farid Gaibov, secretary general of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation (AGF).

AGF’s special prize – the AGF Trophy – was also awarded for the best performance and the highest score.

Nikolai Makarov and Farid Gaibov presented the awards to Kazakh gymnast Alexandr Romakhov and the UK gymnast Lucie Colebeck.

The World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics and Tumbling is being held at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku on Feb. 18-19. Eighty-five gymnasts representing 15 countries are taking part in the World Cup.

The finals in men’s and women’s individual and synchro pairs programs in trampoline gymnastics and tumbling are taking place Feb. 19.
