This is the third time that the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation (AGF) has been included in the rating list of distinguished federations, activities of which are rewarded with prizes of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), said a message posted on the AGF website March 4.
The FIG Executive Committee awards prizes each year on the basis of international activities of federations (the organization of championships and World Cups, participation in them, the shown results, holding meetings of FIG governing bodies, organization of coaching and referee courses of FIG Academy).
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation, as a result of its active and professional work, is among the ten strongest federations for the third time (2014, 2015 and 2016).
The FIG members are 148 national federations.
