Great atmosphere has been created at the FIG Artistic Gymnastics Individual Apparatus World Cup in Baku, Doga Ketenci, a gymnast representing Turkey in the competition, told Trend.
Ketenci, who took part in women’s vault exercises, scored 12.866 in the first rotation.
The competition is organized at a very high level, the gymnast said, adding the atmosphere in the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku inspires to good performance.
The first day of the new Olympic cycle’s first FIG Artistic Gymnastics Individual Apparatus World Cup kicked off at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku March 16 and will continue until March 19. Athletes from 23 countries will perform at the World Cup to be hosted by the Azerbaijani capital for the second time.
Qualifications will be held on the first two days of the event followed by the Apparatus Finals on last two days.
