The FIG Artistic Gymnastics Individual Apparatus World Cup was organized at a high level in Baku, Hungarian gymnast Krisztian Berki, who won a bronze medal, told Trend March 19.

“I am very glad that I am participating in these competitions,” he said.

Berki added that it is necessary to work more to be in a higher place.

"Of course, I will work harder next time,” he said. “The participation in these competitions helped to gain good experience.”

Berki said that all conditions were created for athletes in the National Gymnastics Arena.

The last day of the FIG Artistic Gymnastics Individual Apparatus World Cup kicked off at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku March 19.

The men are competing in vault, pommel horse and horizontal bar finals, while the women - in balance beam and floor finals.

Azerbaijan is represented by Marina Nekrasova in balance beam and floor exercises.

A total of ten sets of medals will be awarded at the competitions.

The FIG Artistic Gymnastics Individual Apparatus World Cup finals will end Mar. 19. Gymnasts from 23 countries take part in the FIG World Cup in artistic gymnastics, which is hosted by Azerbaijan for the second time.
