AccessBank has been recognized by European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) as the most active issuing bank in 2016 in Azerbaijan within Trade Facilitation Program (TFP), AccessBank said in a message May 11.

This nomination was awarded in Nicosia at the EBRD’s annual meeting and business forum held on May 9, 2017.

"We are very proud to receive this honorable award from such reputable international institution as the EBRD,” CEO of AccessBank Dr. Rolf Reichardt said. “It proves once again that AccessBank successfully realizes own mission of supporting the local businesses, an important part of which is financing of foreign trade operations. As part of the further development of corporate banking, the Bank plans to expand its corporate product range and continue to increase the volume of trade finance transactions."

The EBRD’s Trade Facilitation Program acts since 1999 and currently includes over 100 Issuing Banks in 28 countries with total volume of transactions exceeding € 15 billion. EBRD is one of the strategic shareholders of AccessBank and owns 20% shares in the Bank’s authorized capital.
