ENTRANCE EXAMS TO UNIVERSITIES TO BE HELD STRICT CONDITIONS

The State Commission on Students’ Admission (SCSA) of Azerbaijan takes several steps to ensure unbiased organization of entrance exams to the universities in 2005-2006 education year, Maleyka Abbaszada the chairman of the SCSA.

No one should hope to succeed in deceiving the examiners, copy from others, she said. The SCSA acquired a special technique to observe the exams. Besides, in case of overlap in answers to questions both applicants will be disqualified.

Touching upon the issue of illegal holding of entrance exams by some private universities Abbaszada noted that the state commission would strengthen fight against such universities. Only the SCSA enjoys a right for holding entrance exams, she noted. She accused the private universities not only in holding illegal admission to the universities, as well as their further transfer to state universities. The State Commission will establish electron base of students for students.
