SCAS CHAIRMAN DENIES INFORMATION OF EXAMINATION TESTS COMPLEXITY

Test assignments, made up by the Azerbaijan State Commission on Acceptance of Students (SCAS) are complicated only for unprepared entrants, for well prepared they are not so complicated, the SCAS chairman, Maleyka Abbaszade told a briefing on 21 June, commenting the information, Trend reports.

According to her, tasks are made up by the high level experts and based on textbooks and coordinated with the Azerbaijan's Education Ministry. The SCAS chairman told also, that annually after examinations all tests undergo open independent expertise and, respectively, in case of non-coincidence of questions with answers, the issue is decided in favor of the entrants, who gave correct answers.

Abbaszade has also denied the information on raising the issue on the unprofessional preparation of questions to enter the Master's courses. According to the SCAS chairman, the Minister himself in the telephone talk with her denied the information on holding the meeting at the Ministry where, allegedly, the issue has been raised.
