On the initiative of the UNESCO Good Will Ambassador, the first Lady of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva, the UNESCO implements a new project on development of the educational system in Azerbaijan. The Education Ministry (EM) delegation will pay a visit to Paris on 5 July, to the organizations’ headquarters aimed at holding consultations on the project, the Education Minister of Azerbaijan, Misir Mardanov told Trend.
Negotiations on educational problems of Azerbaijan, on theUNESCO opportunities in aiding to solve these problems will be held during the visit, the Minister said.
According to Mardanov, the UNESCO Secretary General, Koichiro Matsuura is expected to visit Azerbaijan in August. Signing of the Memorandum on cooperation is envisioned during the visit, the Minister said.
