The management of the football club Baki has approached several foreign players with the possibility of their transfer to be formalized by the start of the new season.

Baki is about to clinch transfer agreements with Suad Liji, a midfielder of the Albanian national team, and Latvian forward Stoltserts. Both have been invited to trial performance in the framework of the club’s preparations in Guba.

So far the Baki club has hired Ionuts Badya, a defender of Dinamo Bucharest, and Alban Dragusha, who was transferred from Ukrainian football club Vorskla last year. Baki’s goal keeper Soso Grishikashvili is also a foreigner вЂ" he is a standby goal keeper of the Georgian national football team.

During its trial games, Baki has succeeded in gaining a 3:2 victory over MKT-Araz, another local club, which last month hired Igor Nakonechniy, a Ukrainian coach.
