A hotel, being constructed within the bounds of Heydar Aliyev International Airport, will be commissioned in 2006, according to state airline AzAL.
Work is currently done on the laying of foundation for the compound, with the mobilization of all necessary equipment and installations.
The four-star hotel will be capable of accommodating 200 visitors at the same time, and expand the scope of service opportunities at the airport.
The project, valued at 17 million U.S. dollars, is carried out by the Turkish construction company Zimaninshaat.
