The State Commission on Student Admission (SCSA) determined the date for announcement of the entrance examination to universities for 2005-2006 academic year. The experts of the SCSA are checking examination replies, Trend reports.
The SCSA earlier planned to announce the results from 2 August, but experts did not manage to check entrants’ works.
The total number of the places comprises 28,785 with 23,585 at state and 5,200 at private universities against 28,475 in 2004. 10,828 of them are free of charge, 12,757 вЂ" paid.
The admission was held on 254 specialties, including new ones such as �Economic regulation’, �Organization of insurance’, �Ecological chemistry’ and Urdu language and literature’.
The examinations were held in Baku and Nakhichevan.
