Meeting of the working group, set up by the state bodies representatives and the human rights defenders for solving the political prisoners issue will take place on 16 September, a working group member, a human rights activist Murad Sadaddinov told Trend. As the Milli Mejlis (Parliament) is on holidays now, the meeting is not held. Therefore, the meeting set for 16 September, may be delayed.
As for the sitting’s agenda, Sadaddinov said, the Milli Mejlis, the President’s administration office representatives, making the working group are to submit the report to human rights activists.
Therefore, the issue of some political prisoners must find its solution prior to the sitting. The opposite side must also speak out its stance on the amnesty draft, put forward by the human rights defenders.
