(Tatar-inform) вЂ" The 1st вЂ�Golden Minbar’ International Festival of Moslem film will be held at the Organik theatre in the capital of Tatarstan. The residents of Kazan will watch around 30 Russian and foreign films dedicating to Islam.
Russia will be represented by works of cinematographers from Kazan and Ufa, as well as Moscow. The winners will be awarded on the scene of the Tatar State Academic Theatre on 10 September.
The jury led by Rustam Ibrahimbekov, the well-known scenario writer, will determine winners of Golden, Silver and Bronze minbars. Besides, the nominations for the best man role, for the best woman role and for the best direction work were also established.
The jury consists of famous films critics, actors and directors from Egypt, Syria, Iran, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, as well as well as Kirill Razlogov, a critic from Russia, Tufan Minnulin, a writer from Tatarstan, and Rais Ibrahimov, a director from Bashkortostan.
Special awards such as the Tatarstan President’s prize, the Prize of the Council of Russian Muftis were established.
The festival is organized by the Culture Ministry of the Tatarstan Republic. The President of the festival is Ravil Gaynutdin, the chairman of the Russian Council of Muftis.
