Allahshukur Pashazada, the chairman of the Caucasus Moslems Clerical Board (CMCB), is invited to participate in the prize-awarding ceremony of the Conscience Challenge Fund, which will be held in New-York on 21 September, the CMCB told Trend.
Pashazada is the only religious leader invited to the ceremony to represent the Moslems of the world. Thanks to Pashazada the Fund supported the Azerbaijani position at its forums, stand for the solution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict on the base of the UN resolutions.
In 2005 the annual prize of the Fund will be handed to John Howard, the Austrian Prime-Minister.
The Fund established in 1965 functions in the sphere of religious freedom and human rights.
