The Ministry of Economic Development sent a reply to the Media Council in relation to the address on granting of dwelling to journalists on the 130th anniversary of national media, Aflatun Amashov, the chairman of the Media Council told Trend.
He noted that letter sent by the Media Council to Ilham Aliyev, the Azerbaijani President, was submitted to the Ministry of Economic Development. The Ministry proposed to allot unbuilt houses in the Balajari settlement.
Amashov stressed that he would get familiar with the proposed buildings soon. “We will agree, if the area and unbuilt houses are suitable. Then we will announce a tender on completion of the construction,” Amashov added.
He also underlined that they envisaged provision of 60 journalists with dwelling.
