The Education Ministry of Azerbaijan and the Asian Bank of Development (ADB) will sign a memorandum on cooperation on the project “Development of Children in Early Childhood”. The final version of the project is prepared and coordinated between the Ministry and the Bank, the Ministry told Trend.
The plan of the project’s technical feasibility is currently under development. The project’s implementation is scheduled to start on March 2006 after signing the credit agreement with the Bank, which voiced the intention to finance it. The Bank’s experts propose to include beside 10 pilot projects two more regions- Apsheron and Ismailli to the Azerbaijani side.
During the next Bank’s mission to Azerbaijan to take place in late September new prospects of cooperation will be studied.
