“The Media Council refused from unfinished building allotted for journalist by the Ministry of Economic development in Bilajari,” Aflatun Amashov, the chairman of the Council, told Trend.
He noted that they carried out examination of the building on the balance of the Ministry and found it unacceptable. The building locates far from the center and populated by internally displaced people. Therefore, they refused from the building and informed the Ministry about it.
According to Amashov, the Ministry offered several places after this. The Media Council will carry out examination of the places and get familiar with the conditions to choose one of them.
It should be mentioned that Media Council sent an appeal to the Ministry on issuing of flats on the 130th anniversary of the national media. Therefore, the Ministry is engaged in allotment of appropriate building for journalists.
