The database of homeless children been in need of care and attention was established at the Azerbaijani Youth, Sport and Tourism Ministry, the Ministry told Trend.
The project is implemented under the support of presentation of the UNICEF in Azerbaijan. The agreement on the project was achieved between Khana Singer, the the UNICEF representative, and Abulfaz Garayev, the Minister of Youth, Sport and Tourism. The organization will also render technical and financial aid to the Ministry for establishment of the center, where the data will be gathered.
The database and the center will be established under the state program on youth policy. The plan covering 2005-2009 was developed by the Ministry.
