Nazim Ibrahimov expresses attitude to minister replacement in an interview to Turkish media

“The Azerbaijani Ministers are dismissed from office at the will of the President and it is natural. Most of officials have worked for over 10 years. The shift of ministers was expected,” Nazim Ibrahimov, the chairman of the State Committee on Azerbaijanis Living Abroad, told Turkish Channel-7, Trend reports.

In his television speech at several authoritative Turkish channels, Ibrahimov also answered questions about the current events in Azerbaijan. He noted that minister replacement may
be continued. According to Ibrahimov, accusations of the high rank officials of attempt to make coup d’etat are hard and sorrowful moment. “Someone of Ministers probable participated in similar actions. I hope that they will be disclosed and removed from office, as well as punished,” he said.

Touching upon intensification of the Azerbaijani opposition, he stressed that there was no danger of �velvet revolution’ in the country. In accordance with different inquiries, over 70% of the population supports President Ilham Aliyev.

In his opinion, the revolution is possible only when the heads can not govern and massaes does not obey. “You can not face with such situation in Azerbaijan,” he underlined.
