“We intend to gain a victory in the group and go to the ¼ final round of Challenge Cup,” Rimas Kurtinaytis, the coach of Lithuania’s basketball team Gala’ said on the eve of the match with Khimik scheduled for Wednesday.
He confessed that team turned out in a difficult group which includes Perm’s Ural Great’, while the company is eager to surprise its rivals. “We hold productive matches in Lithuania, won a number of control games and the children are in good mood,” he noted.
According to the coach, the forthcoming game will be difficult twice for Gala, as Khimik started Euro-cup season with a host loss to Ural-Great. So, the second failure can deprive the Ukrainians from a chance of victory in the group.
