The Azerbaijan’s Court of Appeals considered on 28 October the complaint of the former head of the department of the President’s executive office Akif Muradverdiyev. The process under the chairmanship of the judge Salman Huseynov has not ensured consideration of the appeal. The court recognized the appeal as groundless and left the former decision in force, Trend reports.
Being in custody Muradverdiyev lodged an appeal on the decision of the Nasimi district court for his three-month arrest. He also declined charges brought against him on the attempt of the forcible overthrow of power and preparations of unrests.
