A farewell match of Gurban Gurbanov, one of the best forwards in the Azerbaijani football, who decided to end his carrier, is scheduled for 16 November.
Melik Hassanov, the head of the Department for Organization of Tournaments of the AFFA (Azerbaijani Federation of Football Associations), the teams of prominent and legendary footballers of the country will face in the solemn match. The meeting will come as the first of its kind. So, appointing the match for 16 November the Association intends both to bid farewell to Gurbanov and benefit the FIFA’s �window’ allocated for friendly matches.
Gurbanov, who decided to undress his boots a month ago, is the Sports Director of Intera club.
