“The act on pardon will not be signed on Ramazan holiday marked on4 November,” Azay Guliyev, a member of the Commission on Pardon under the Azerbaijani President, told Trend.
The next meeting of the Commission on Pardon will be held after the parliamentary elections. “Many of the members nominated their candidacy in relation to the parliamentary elections and held election campaign. The meeting is delayed in this regard,” Guliyev stressed.
According Guliyev, the number of the people appealed for pardon increased. “During the last two month I received over 70 appeals. 50 of them are from Ali-Bayramli,” he underlined.
